Our technologies
Fibre-based CV-QKD
We provide the devices for deploying Quantum Key Distribution in optical fiber links. The system operates on standard single-mode fiber at 1550nm, using the current fiber infrastructure. This solution is based on continuous variable quantum key distribution protocols and has undergone successful field trials covering distances of up to 50 km of fiber. Currently in the pilot phase, we anticipate its readiness by the end of 2024.
Free-space QKD
We provide the implementation of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) in free space for establishing wireless connections in metropolitan areas. This solution is based on implementing the BB84 protocol with polarization states, ensuring high resilience against losses caused by typical atmospheric imperfections. The system has undergone field trials successfully establishing a link in the metropolitan environment of Madrid, and it is expected to be available soon.
